Father Gabriel Council 3746
Hello Brother Knights. We are starting a new monthly newsletter that will be available to view on this site. Any news, info, or things you would like to include, please share with BK David DeFino.
There is a lot going on April as we prepare to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Check below in the Our Lady of Lourdes section to see the church events, and special Masses you should try to attend.
There will be a 3rd Degree Exemplification on Saturday April 8th over at Ascension Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. If you haven’t made your 3rd Degree, you are invited to attend (please dress appropriately.) If you know any Brother Knights who have not yet received their 3rd Degree, please let them know the time, date and location.
We have our regularly scheduled council meetings on Tuesday the 11th, and 25th this month. These will be in the council chambers at 7:00 pm. All Brother Knights are encouraged to attend.
Saturday, April 22nd there will be a Lasagna Dinner at the Parish Hall from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Along with the homemade Lasagna, there will be a special presentation of a traveling Knight of Columbus Museum Exhibit. Tickets are $10 per person, and will go to support the Vacation Bible School (VBS) at Our Lady of Lourdes. You can purchase tickets at any Sunday Mass before the event, or at the Hall on Friday nights. We could also use some volunteers to help set up, and serve. Please contact SK Vince Greco if you want to help out.
John F. Kennedy Assembly #1593
Our regularly scheduled meeting is at 7:30 pm on the first Monday of the month (the 3rd). All Sir Knights are invited to join us.
We will be having our annual election of officers at the next meeting Monday, May 1st. All 4th degree members are encouraged to attend, and help us decide the future of our assembly.
The Columbus Club will be having a Board Meeting at 7:00 PM in the lounge on Monday, April 17th. All board members are asked to be there, any other Knight is welcome to participate.
As always the Lounge will be open Friday nights for anyone to attend. We have a special Lent dinner menu with non-meat items, and specials weekly. (Pierogi night went over very well. Thanks to all who helped out.)
We will be hosting Trivia Night on the first Friday of the month for as long as it is supported, so come on out and support us this Friday April 7th.
There are plenty of upcoming events that need volunteers for set up, clean up and whatever else. Please let us know if you wish to donate some time. We have rentals that could use some volunteers on the 8th, 13th, 22nd, 28th, and 29th. Please let us know if you can help out.
